Looking back at the original Cardcaptor Sakura, I decided to increase my personal score from 8.9 to 9.2, which makes it my second favorite anime I watched in 2017 due to how positively memorable it was. Maybe it’s a question that will never be answered. This will be a card that Sakura will use a lot.Īlso, this episode didn’t answer my question about the technology gap. When Sakura uses the card, a big, transparent bow forms on her back, which allows her to fly gracefully. Tomoyo wants Sakura to see her new card in action. She then realized that she shouldn’t force the capture she has to be more friendly towards it. She uses the action card to get bushes to capture the wind-like force, but it failed. When Sakura approaches the force, it becomes shy and flees. Sakura uses her Gravitation card to float so that she can float and move around quickly.
Being able to see Syaoran use his powers is great. When all of them notice some strange wind, Syaoran summons a sword using the palm of his hands. Syaoran walks in and talks with Tomoyo and Sakura. This would be great for tricking someone by setting up a decoy. It records stuff and projects the thing it recorded with magic. Tomoyo is planning to use it to record more of Sakura doing cool magical girl things. Tomoyo introduces Sakura to her mother’s company’s newest prototype: A video recording drone. Toyomo’s mother hasn’t seen Sakura in a long time and hugs her. This episode mainly takes place in Tomoyo’s house. Subbed or Dubbed: Subbed EPISODE 7 SPOILERS It’s crazy how much things have changed within the past 4 years. There were some things I used to be passionate about 4 years ago that I had to stop doing today, and I had to move on. Throughout the month I have been feeling down mainly because how much stuff has changed this year. The unanswered questions are abundant.įor some reason, I found SEL to be better when I’m not in a good mood. This is coming from someone who mainly avoids dark anime. Of all the anime I watched, Serial Experiments Lain is in the top 5% in terms of darkest anime I’ve watched. Also, I tried to watch this anime from my college campus using the HiDive app, but it wouldn’t let me. We got the pool episode, and it was tame. There isn’t much to say about Hidamari Sketch Episode 6. In fact, I believe I first heard about Air in 2009 or 2010. Air gives off this heavy mid-2000s vibe as shown in its visuals, its character designs, its character personalities, its animation, and its soundtrack. There’s also a lot of feels to be found in this anime, as evidenced in a backstory in Episode 5. The school uniforms in Air is one of my favorites. Subbed or Dubbed: Subbed may alternate between the two But this is a short with enough content for a 2-cour full-length anime, so it’s my second favorite short anime, only behind Wakaba*Girl. AND that would put it at #2 for my favorite anime of 2016, only behind “Your Name”.
If I had to give this anime a score right now, I’d give it an 8.9 out of 10, which would put it in somewhere between 17th and 19th place for full-length anime. It always comes up with something entertaining and comedic, which is a feat that few comedy anime could pull off. Also, the comedy used in this anime never gets stale. It is extremely memorable and is stuck in my head.
I will truly miss the first ending theme of this anime. This week, I watched Gosick, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Air, Hidamari Sketch, Serial Experiments Lain, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc, and The Ryuo’s Work is Never Done! Watching The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.Įpisodes Watched This Week: 7 Short Episodes The seventh Sunday of 2018 has arrived, and that means I get to share my experiences on all of the anime I watched.
